ABOUT OUR IN-HOME TRAINING:Dog Behavior Problems

  • This is done in your home where most of the behaviors and problems occur.

  • Some dogs will often be overly stressed in a group class setting or not do the unwanted behavior when in public. Therefore in-home sessions can be the most beneficial way to really help the dog achieve his/her true potential.

  • Dogs will repeat behaviors that benefit them in some way. Even if it is not a benefit to us! We will teach your dog to repeat behaviors that are nice, polite and beneficial to both human and dog! Simply and easily.

  • The whole family should be involved and we will customize the program to fit your specific family's needs!

  • In-home training is ideal for addressing specific problem behaviors such as jumping up on guests, stay at the door, crate or potty training, leash walking or just starting out with a new puppy!

  • Any aggression, seperation anxiety or fear related behaviors must begin at the home where the dog is most relaxed.

  • Do you have lots of questions? Are you completely confused with all the millions of different answers on the internet? Find out the truth from a professional, educated, certified dog trainer & behavior consultant.

  • With in-home sessions you can ask all the questions you need. Each private session is at least 75 minutes long.

  • In home training sessions are great for multiple dog homes. Prices are done on a 'per-session' basis, not per dog.

  • Busy schedule? In home training is convenient and done around your schedule. See in home appointment hours.

ABOUT OUR GROUP CLASSES & WORKSHOPS:
Group Class Schedule

  • Each group class is held at an indoor 'partner' facility or at a local community park. See complete schedule for periodic class locations, dates, times and prices.

  • Most of our classes are semi-private and typically only have between
    5 – 10 dog students.

  • Classes vary from 3 - 6 weeks and all classes are about 1 hour long each week

  • Group Classes are an excellent way to complete an in-home program and provide socialization during that important developmental stages of your puppy.

  • Prices vary by class location.  Please see schedule for complete details.

  • Our behavior focused workshops are great for fine tuning those troublesome behaviors or a great way to round out any in-home or group class program.

TYPES OF CLASSES:
PUPPY KINDERGARTEN
Early development training - a MUST for any puppy!

BASIC & BEYOND OBEDIENCE
All skill levels welcome - good for just starting out or improving performance around distractions.

X DOG AGILITY CHALLENGE (Level I & II) & Fun-gility
No obedience skills required to join - Fun for the whole family! Kids welcome! 
Want to try agility but you can't run with your dog? Try our NEW Assisted Agility!

SEARCH & SNIFF - TRACKING /SEARCH CLASS
No obedience requirements - Teach your dog how to sniff out objects/people. This class is only held during the cooler seasons.

GOOD MANNERS & DEPENDABLE DOG WORKSHOPS
Great for specific problem behaviors, fine tuning an in-home program or group class.

AKC'S CANINE GOOD CITIZEN TEST and/or PREP-CLASS
Tests can be given on an as-needed basis, call us to schedule your test if you are ready. Classes only offered a few times a year.
